About Julie
Let’s Be Honest
Life is busy. And messy. And hard. And wonderful.
I don’t adhere to the philosophy of perfectionism when it comes to organizing our homes. (Thanks a lot, social media and Netflix). I do believe our homes should serve us, not the other way around.
Like most of you, my life has consisted of MANY stages and changes over the years. I’ve raised children, cared for aging family members and experienced unexpected grief and loss. My career morphed from the corporate world to stay-at-home Mom to running a non-profit organization. And lots of volunteering. I have had an interest in organizing for many years. (I find it relaxing and therapeutic to clean out a closet or my pantry when stressed. I know what you’re thinking…strange.) I’ve read the books (think Marie Kondo) and organized spaces for friends. People have often said, “You should do this for a living.”
I have always been attracted to organized spaces and prefer a healthy, balanced life. I have a strong practical gene. And, I love to share this with others. Nothing lights me up like creating a solution that changes someone’s life. All of my experiences and the desire to meet the needs of people around me bring compassion to my work.
No matter what lifestyle or stage of life you’re in, at Healthy Home Organizing we can create organization and efficiency…a beautiful place you’ll love to come home to.
More about Julie
When not working with clients, you can find me running on the Mountain Bay Trail or in a local road race, biking the streets of Howard, Suamico and De Pere (really anywhere in the Green Bay area), hiking, cooking, reading, and walking our dog (& granddog!) I love a night out at a good local restaurant as well. Oh yeah, and attending a few Packers games a year, of course! You may notice much of this is outdoors (in any kind of Wisconsin weather), as I need to breathe fresh air daily. I enjoy all of this with my husband, two young-adult children (& soon-to-be son-in-law!), and friends.
